Join Liberty Mutual's LEGIT group members for a fun and empowering workshop designed to introduce you to the exciting world of coding. You will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills as you work through a series of challenges just like a computer programmer does when developing new code.
 
This workshop is presented in partnership with Liberty Mutual's LEGIT (Liberty Encouraging Girls in Tech) group who are dedicated to fostering and empowering young women to pursue careers in technology-related fields.
 
This event is designed as an in-person event for Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors. Workshop activities will complete the requirements for the Coding Basics badge (badge included).

Women Leading Tech Innovation Mastermind at Hope Training Academy

At the STEM Experience Center, we know that STEM can be challenging. That’s why we strive to provide accessible resources to help pursue different topics in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with our brand-new field trip offerings for Homeschool based students and their families.
 
In this workshop, students will look at take a closer look at how potential and kinetic energy along with Newton’s laws of motion affect how a vehicle travel. They will conduct a series of engineering challenges to design, build and test various vehicles to illustrate these relationships. Students will also explore the relationships between several of Camp Dellwood’s amenities and the world of physics.

Whether in the market for a job, internship, or just hoping to better understand job market opportunities, all interested women students are encouraged to apply to attend this event. There will be a brief, pre-networking workshop for all registered students to learn tips on how to network with employers. This will be followed by the networking session which, unlike a traditional career fair, will promote deeper discussions and information sharing. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!
